WHY WE ARE MEASURING THIS
Research has shown that people with health insurance are more
likely to seek medical care early for themselves and family members.
This often results in higher success and lower cost in treating the
disease or ailment. There are many kinds of public and private
medical insurance. Typically, private health insurance is provided
through one’s employer. AHCCS
provides coverage for Medicaid populations including children, low
income and disabled individuals.
