Requesting Copies of Court Documents

eAccess - Online Access to Court Records

In a continuing effort to promote access to justice, the Arizona Supreme Court has launched a web-based portal called eAccess. eAccess provides convenient 24/7 online access to case records and documents that are unrestricted and open to the public. eAccess is available to the public, attorneys, government users, the media, and litigants. Case documents are available for a one-time fee of $10, or you may register for a subscription for access to additional documents. eAccess_logo Opens in new window

Fees do not apply to approved government agencies. Out-of-state government agencies are not eligible for a government agency access account. This site provides information on registration, monthly subscription and per-document use costs, purchasing and viewing documents, FAQ's, and general use how-to's. The site also offers to ability to electronically certify documents and electronically verify the authenticity of a certified document.

Requesting Records from the Clerk's Office

Documents available include criminal records, marriage licenses, divorce case records, civil case records, probate and guardianship case records, and certain naturalization records from February 1881 to the present day. You may apply at the Courthouse in person by filling out a Request for Court Records Form. You will be notified if your request requires additional time. The availability of certain older records may be limited. 

Request Online

For online requests, please use our Online Records Request Form detailing what type of record you are searching for, the names of both parties, and an approximate date. The case number is not required, but please provide it if you have access to that information. 

Online payments are easily made with Point & Pay. Please see our payments information page with more details.

Request By Mail

You may also mail your request. Download, print, and complete the Request For Court Records Form. In your correspondence, please include your name, address, and telephone number or email address. Mail your request to :

Once the request is received, you will receive an email or telephone response estimating when your order will be fulfilled and the cost of the search.

Forms of Payment

WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Online payments are easily made with Point & Pay. Please see our payments information page with more details. We will receive payment in the form of a cashier's check or money order before processing your request. 

Government Agencies

There is no charge for requests by Arizona State, County, a Local government offices. Fees are incurred for most other federal government agencies and institutions. We do not accept telephone or faxed requests. Please use our Online Records Request Form for requests.
