County Administration

The County Administrator manages the day-to-day operations of the county:

  • Implements policies and programs approved by the Board of Supervisors.
  • Acts as a liaison between the Board of Supervisors and the external departments (i.e. Judicial System, Treasurer, Assessor, etc.)
  • Has direct supervision over the internal departments (i.e. Finance, Information Technology, Elections, etc.) 
  • One of the main functions of the County Administrator is to develop and implement a $186 million budget.
