Cochise County residents who do not have a library card may get one at any library location. Getting a full-access card requires photo ID and proof of address, and allows users to check out books, DVDs, and other materials as well as offering access to ebooks and online resources.
If you are not able to get to a library, or you primarily need access to online resources, you may apply for an E-Resource card that offers access to ebooks, other digital materials, and a variety of research tools, but does not allow for checking out physical items. Your E-Resource Card may be upgraded to a full-access card at any library location, with photo ID and proof of address.
To apply, fill out the form below or email the requested information (name, contact details, birthdate) Email Amadee Ricketts. You will receive a confirmation email with more information within two business days.
If you prefer to apply over the phone, call the Library District at 520-432-8937. Staff are available Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
You must be at least 18 years old to apply for an E-Resource Card. If you are a student in the Bisbee Unified School District, please fill out the Student form to apply for a card. If you are a parent from elsewhere in the county, and wish to get library cards for your children, please contact your library or call the Library District (520-432-8937) for more information.
