Organizational culture is "The set of values, norms, guiding beliefs, and understandings that is shared by members of an organization and taught to new members as the correct way to think, feel, and behave." - Daft, 2010
Over the course of the course of several years Cochise County has gone from a four group culture focus: Expertise/Knowledge; Rituals/Ceremonies; Talent Acquisition/Employee Development; and Employee Appreciation/Recognition, to a one group countywide focus. The current group addresses all components of the previous group and brings in the mid management level employees to participate.
The group continues to move forward in discussing potential projects/improvements and changes in order to better serve our citizens and provide opportunities for current employees.
