Cochise County is pleased to announce the launch of our new Application/ Recruitment software system which will thoroughly automate the process to apply for employment with the County.
Cochise County has partnered with NEOGOV, the nation’s largest cloud software for Human Resources in government and education. Job seekers will still be able to apply online for County positions by visiting https://www.cochise.az.gov. The NEOGOV software will store applicant information in an online database, allowing for a quick and easy process when applying for multiple positions, whether it is in the course of one day or over future visits.
All applicants will need to create an account (one- time only) and select a Username and Password. After establishing an account, creating the form that will be the basis for applications can be as easy as importing your resume from LinkedIn. Applicants do not have to have a LinkedIn account as they may also enter their information from a saved document or manually enter it. This information will be saved and can be used to apply for multiple and future job openings. Applicants will also be able to view their application history and recruitment status. Please note that online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized Human Resources and hiring Department personnel will have access to the information submitted.
To maximize the utility and efficiency of this new process, effective October 1, 2016, all applications for positions within Cochise County must be submitted online.
