Vendor Registration

The Cochise County Procurement department is now using Public Purchase, a web based e-Procurement service. 

In order to begin, or continue to receive bid notifications as a current vendor you must register with this new system. This process will only take a few minutes. The two-step registration process/instructions are detailed in the Public Purchase - Vendor Registration booklet. You may download booklet by clicking here. If you are already registered with Public Purchase please proceed to step 2.

1. Register with Public Purchase:
Use the link below to begin the registration process. It can take up to 24 hours for your account to become active.

Upon activation you will receive an email from PublicPurchase letting you know your account is activated.  Be sure to add this email address to your contacts to avoid the bid notification emails from being sent to your junk folder.

Please be sure to assemble the information below prior to registration:

  • Legal Business Name
  • W-9
  • Taxpayer ID Number Type
  • Contact Information (Contact Name, Address, Email, Phone)
  • Business Type
  • Commodities (Please insure that all commodities you wish to be notified for is entered in Public Purchase)

 

2.   Register with Cochise County:
      

Once you have received your activation email from Public Purchase log into www.publicpurchase.com and accept the terms and conditions of use and continue to register with Cochise County using the Vendor Registration booklet.

Benefits to Us

This e-Procurement system is compliant with all Federal and State regulations, which determine the required procedures for Government Agency purchasing practices.  This service will also create an up to date vendor database, which will be hosted on Public Purchase’s servers and will allow suppliers to easily update and change their information as needed.

Benefits to You

This e-Procurement system will create a single location in which to view open quotes, bids, RFP and RFQ requests and award information for previous solicitation issued through the Public Purchase website.  This system will also provide you with automatic notification and transmittal of bid solicitations and all correspondence issued pertaining to the solicitations.  In addition, Public Purchase gives you access to bid opportunities with other government entities.  There is no charge for this service with Cochise County.
