Cochise County School Superintendent Jacqui Clay has appointed Johanna Scott as the new member of the Cochise Technology District Governing Board. Scott will be sworn in at the next meeting.
Scott has lived in Sierra Vista for 23 years with her husband and has three children and two grandchildren.
She was previously a career and technical education (CTE) teacher for the Sierra Vista Unified School District and is currently employed at the Center for Academic Success and Arizona@Work Southeastern Arizona in Sierra Vista. She also volunteers her time as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children separated from their families.
“A big congratulations to Johanna,” said Superintendent Clay. “We know her leadership and collaboration with Buena High School will produce outstanding results for our students, CTE programs and our community.”
