Phone/Online Payment Information
**2016 Property Taxes Only**
**NOTICE: The last day to make credit/debit or echeck payments on 2015 property taxes was on February 08, 2017. Payments on 2015 and prior taxes must be made in person at the Treasurer's Office or sent by mail.
The Treasurer's Office processes payments via Point & Pay. For all credit cards, Point & Pay charges 2.5% (TWO POINT FIVE PERCENT) on top of your tax payment as a service fee with a minimum fee of $2.00. For all VISA consumer debit cards, Point & Pay charges a flat rate of $3.95. All E-checks have a convenience fee of $2.00 up to $10,000 and a fee of $10.00 for anything over $10,000. For e-checks, please be careful when entering routing and account number information. If an incorrect routing number or account number is used, your payment will bounce within four days. The Treasurer's office will charge a $25 service fee for returned checks. To pay multiple parcels or multiple years, select "Add More Payments to Cart" on Step 2 of the payment process and follow the instructions provided.
The Cochise County Treasurer's Office does not receive any portion of the convenience fee. For online payments, the Cochise County Treasurer is not permitted to charge additional fees. In addition, the Treasurer is not allowed to deduct banking fees from the property tax (levy) collected, which would result in apportioning a lesser amount to the taxing jurisdictions. Unlike private-sector merchants, the Treasurer's Office cannot absorb processing fees into the cost of doing business.
**NOTICE: Due to a printing error, payment security codes were not printed on the Real Property 2016 tax statements. A postcard has been sent with your payment security code for online/telephone payments. PAYMENT SECURITY CODES DO NOT ALLOW ACCESS TO ANY INFORMATION THAT IS NOT ALREADY PUBLIC RECORD. Payment security codes are to ensure payments are made on the correct parcel and does not provide private information about any tax payer that cannot already be obtained by visiting the Treasurer's Office. Tax information is public record.
